Many Thanks to Dora's Sewing and Alteration in Gaffney, South Carolina! Dora donated boxes of industrial size thread for the women's Touch His Cloak project. It just keeps getting better with wonderful donations. The women continue to sew sanitary pads for the women and girls in the community. Hopefully, soon, they will be able to create a small economy making and selling pads, but in the meantime, they can live productive lives tending to their families and attending school. Keep up the good work ladies!

Still going strong March update
The women and girls are still working hard in making sanitary pads for the female community needs. We're hoping that in a year they will become self-sufficient in making their own products and starting a grass roots retail business! We still need more funds and every little bit helps. Each sewing machine is $150.00. Our goal is to provide 6 more machines. Please help!

February update
Special Thanks to Hamrick Mills for donating 186 yards of fabric to Touch His Cloak project and to the Hamrick family--Lee and Gail who donated their own personal family sheets!! A lot! We have enough to send for a year! Go to their web site:
We still need donations for as little as $5.00 to help with shipping costs. We could also use needles, thread, and scissors. Please send to 160 Sarratt School Rd., Gaffney, SC 29341. God Bless you!

January update
We have been able to send a package a month that contains fabric, needles, thread, scissors, pins, and plastic lining for the Touch His Cloak project. Thanks to the Hamrick family and Hamrick Mills, we can send one package a month for a year. The big challenge is money for shipping. It costs about $150.00 for each package weighing about 25 pounds. So if you can, please donate any amount to TeamofGod.org. You can just click on the donation icons on the home page of www.teamofGod.org.
Also: We are looking for funding for mosquito netting.
Chairman James Ooynu wrote: "I visited this boarding elementary school (Lira Modern Primary School) just opposite our church. On touring their facilities, I was badly hit by the alarming conditions of the dormitories of the school. One thing that struck me most was the bad condition of mosquito nets children used."
Malaria is Africa's leading cause of death for children. It is treatable and preventable. Use of mosquito nets is one of the ways to prevent it.
